What you can expect:
I will arrive 20 to 30 minutes in advance to set up.
For private parties:
I can paint 10-12 detailed faces per hour. I always strive to give each person the personal attention and high quality work that they deserve while they’re in my chair. Please make sure you book enough time for everyone to get painted and have a memorable and fun face painting experience!
For large events:
I can paint up to 20 quick faces per hour. This is recommended for festivals and events where there will be large numbers of people in attendance and not for small private parties.
Who can get painted?
Everyone!
Well, almost everyone. Face paint is not recommended for babies or for very young children. For those under 3 years old, it is better to get a little paint on their arm rather than on the face. They can see and enjoy it here and the skin on their arms is less sensitive than on their little faces.
For sanitary reasons, I will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds. I will not paint anyone who is unwilling to be painted.
I use only FDA compliant, make up grade products on the skin. These are high quality, professional products that are formulated for use on the skin.
Washing instructions:
Lather up the design with soap first. Once it is a soapy mess, rinse with water, then wash with soap and water and a washcloth. Repeat if needed. If there is still a slight stain, use makeup remover or baby oil.
